In May-June 2024, I had the honor to participate in a training workshop for Schobot ambassadors from
different countries using artificial intelligence tools via the Schobot application.
Schobot is an innovative search engine from the professor Muhammad Anas Al-Baz that seeks to save
the time of scientists, researchers, writers and content creators in the world, by reducing the effort
expended and increasing the quality of scientific research, and works to spread science and knowledge
in the field of scientific research.
The duration of each training workshop is at least four hours via Zoom and was very rich in knowledge
and skills on how to use Schobot technologies in the field of scientific research.
In the first meeting, some artificial intelligence applications were reviewed in general, then how
to access the Schobot platform, and its tools were introduced. It was explained how to use
Schobot as a support tool for researchers in managing and analyzing data and generating ideas,
as well as explaining the use of artificial intelligence techniques to analyze big data quickly and
accurately, with practical examples. And how to make a research plan in record time and with
high professionalism, in terms of determining the title of the research plan and the keywords,
then reviewing previous studies on the topic of the plan, and determining the most consistent
with the topic of the plan, then making an accurate summary of these studies that explains their
main elements. During the course, the ethics of scientific research were repeatedly emphasized.
On the second training day, the ambassadors presented their first research experience (title,
plan and results) in the field via Schobot, and it was discussed online by Dr. Mohamed El-Baz
and Dr. Saeed Shoush, who gave their valuable comments and guidance, and put the finishing
touches on it and gradually corrected all its details in order to expand the benefit from
Schobot’s capabilities in a better way.
On the third training day, there was a continuation of reviewing the results of the participants’
research, correcting errors, discussion and guidance to enrich the research and translate it into
several languages. As for the second part, it was a lecture on brainstorming using Schobot, in
which they learned how to create new research ideas and develop them.
On the fourth training day, the results of the brainstorming were summarized, with the
ambassadors exchanging suggestions and research ideas, and suggesting a new topic to
research.
On the fifth training day, Dr. Mohamed El-Baz gave a valuable presentation on how to create an
integrated research plan for two research papers, the first in Arabic and the second in English,
and reviewing the results of the research plan and the possibility of translating it

Before using Schobot, I relied heavily on manual searching through different databases and scientific
articles. This was time-consuming and often exhausting. Now, I can identify the main ideas and
important points in research faster and more effectively.
• By using Schobot, I was able to access reliable and accurate information much faster than I could do
manually.
• Schobot helped me extract new ideas by analyzing texts and extracting important and repeated
information, which allowed me to see the links between different ideas and research trends.
• Schobot greatly reduced the time and effort required for research. Before using Schobot, I needed
long hours to read and understand scientific texts. Now, I can get summaries and analyses quickly, which
saves me a lot of time.
• Schobot can save many hours of time daily, especially when dealing with large amounts of
information. In terms of effort, it can be said that it has reduced repetitive and tiring manual work,
allowing me to focus on the creative and analytical side of the research.
• Schobot has helped me greatly in understanding my research topic more deeply, as it can analyze
scientific texts and provide clear and comprehensive summaries, which helps in better understanding
complex concepts.
• Schobot does help in directing the student towards the correct sources and information, but relying
entirely on it without personal understanding or analysis can lead to superficial understanding.
Therefore, it should be used as an aid and not as a substitute for personal effort.
• By providing important information, summaries and analyses, Schobot has helped me organize my
thoughts and prepare the main points to discuss my research with greater confidence.
• Schobot can make a huge difference in educational institutions by providing an efficient and fast
research tool for students and researchers, increasing the quality of research and accelerating the
learning process. It can also reduce the pressure on traditional libraries and databases, and direct
students to the most important information quickly. Schobot can save a lot of time for students and
researchers, allowing them more time to think and analyze instead of manual searching. It can also
improve the quality of research by providing accurate and reliable sources more quickly.
